Vampires are Sexy!

When I was a little girl Vampires were terrifying. The Vampire movies were classified as horror films. Now it seems like all the Vampire Books, Movies and TV series are all sexy. Now I'm not complaining since I'm a huge fan of Edward from Twilight, and Angel from Buffy and of course I adore Stefan on Vampire Diaries. I'm just wondering what makes them Sexy now?
